How do I revoke access to a file that has already been shared?

In just a few clicks from your Voltn dashboard, you can revoke access at any time, even after the link has been sent. The recipient will instantly lose all access to the document.

What is the difference between a secure transfer and a standard WeTransfer link?

A public link remains open to anyone who finds it. A Voltn share is controlled: set granular permissions, scheduled expiration, download alerts, and audit logs, even long after the file has been sent.

Is Voltn compliant with GDPR and industry-specific regulations?

Yes. Our hosting is 100% French, GDPR-compliant, and ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified, with SecNumCloud qualification currently in progress. Dedicated options such as HDS are also available to meet sector-specific requirements, particularly in healthcare.

Can I share large files without size restrictions?

Yes. Voltn imposes no size limits, whereas email often caps files between 5 and 25 MB depending on the provider. Architectural plans, video files, large exports: everything is sent without compression or splitting.

How can I tell if my recipient has downloaded the file?

Receive a notification as soon as a file is accessed or downloaded. The complete history remains accessible and exportable at any time.

Are my files encrypted during transfer?

Yes. Encryption is applied continuously, both during transfer and once the file is stored. Only authorized recipients can open it.
